Job summary

McCann Manchester is seeking a Senior PPC Executive to join our Media team in Manchester. You will drive smart, insight-led paid search strategies, building strong client relationships and delivering PPC plans that are profitable and aligned with overall media objectives.

You will work closely with PPC managers, contributing to audits, strategy development, and ongoing optimisation while collaborating across the agency to ensure cohesive campaigns and client success.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of major PPC platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads).
• Experience in building and managing PPC campaigns.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for campaign performance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Trends.
• Proven experience managing client relationships and PPC delivery.

Responsibilities

• Stay ahead of the paid search landscape with platform updates and new formats.
• Campaign builds and optimisations in platforms.
• Lead comprehensive PPC audits for existing accounts and pitches.
• Build strong client relationships, tracking business and sector changes that impact PPC.
• Lead development of PPC strategies aligned with business objectives within the media plan.
• Act as the planning bridge between media strategy and PPC activation.
• Lead conversations with platform partners and provide informed viewpoints on PPC decisions.
• Manage PPC campaign budgets, spend targets, and billing accuracy.
• Demonstrate expert use of core PPC platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads).
• Support the PPC team across strategy development to ongoing optimisation.
• Collaborate with the wider McCann network to set PPC up for success.
