Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality & Development Engineer to own quality across a global Powertrain supplier base. You will lead APQP/PPAP, manage risks, and drive improvements from sourcing through to launch and series production.

Qualifications

• Experience leading APQP/PPAP in complex vehicle programmes.
• Strong problem solving and structured corrective action capability.
• Expertise in powertrain manufacturing processes and process capability.
• Ability to manage supplier risk, performance and escalations at senior levels.
• Fluent English written and spoken; cross‑functional collaboration across sites.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier quality and development across a global Powertrain base.
• Lead APQP and PPAP activity; manage risks and approvals to schedule.
• Support launches with proactive supplier development and robust plans.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive audits, governance, and improvements.
• Lead resolution of critical supplier issues with containment and corrective actions.
