Job summary

STRABAG UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing Power team and deliver major Transmission & Distribution projects across the UK. You will lead multi-disciplinary delivery from design through handover, ensuring safety, quality and on-time performance on high-value energy infrastructure programs.

The role requires proven PM experience in Power T&D, knowledge of CDM and safety rules, NEC contracts, budgeting, and stakeholder management, plus an engineering qualification and

Qualifications

• Proven PM experience in Power Transmission & Distribution sector.
• Degree or higher in Engineering or related discipline; PM certification.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of CDM regulations and safety procedures, and NEC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery throughout the full lifecycle from contract award to handover.
• Manage scope, programme, budget, resources, risks and change control.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Oversee design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Manage NEC contracts and support commercial and procurement activities.
• Provide regular project performance reporting on progress, financials, risks and opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and pursue future opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement and promote a positive safety culture.
