Zusammenfassung

GE Vernova’s Power Conversion & Storage business seeks a recognised Power Systems expert to lead design, modelling, and analysis for safe, compliant, and cost-effective solutions at a holistic system level. You will work with projects to ensure delivery, quality, and safety while guiding teams across engineering and site operations.

The role requires knowledge of power electronics, system modelling tools, and the ability to travel within the UK and overseas as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant subject, or relevant industrial experience.
• UK citizenship with ability to obtain SC clearance.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical ownership to Power Systems projects for safe, compliant, cost-effective solutions at system level.
• Undertake Power Systems design: modelling, analysis, and simulation using standard tools.
• Develop equipment specifications and support system-level design.
• Ensure designs comply with health & safety standards and class society rules.
• Lead on-time delivery, cost and quality targets with safety as priority.
• Provide technical leadership and resource forecasting for projects.
• Support project managers and commissioning teams with deliverables and variations.
• Offer Power Systems application guidance to commercial and site teams.
