MCS Group | Your Specialist Recruitment Consultancy is helping a major NI energy organisation recruit a Senior Lead Engineer – Networks. The role focuses on leading power system analyses and underpinning network investment decisions within Northern Ireland's transmission framework.

You will develop models and tools, work across stakeholders, and shape the future energy system while enjoying hybrid working arrangements and strong professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in power systems engineering or related senior role.
• Strong knowledge of power systems and transmission networks and equipment.
• Experience with power system modelling software (PSS/E, PowerFactory) and data analysis tools.

Responsabilités

• Lead complex power system analysis.
• Support major network investment and connection decisions.
• Develop models, analysis tools and technical recommendations.
• Influence Northern Ireland’s future energy system.
