The Regulator of Social Housing in the United Kingdom is seeking a Power BI Specialist to lead the design, development and maintenance of dashboards and reporting solutions that enable evidence-based decision making.

You will establish a robust governance framework for Power BI, ensuring consistency, quality, accessibility and security across all reporting, while collaborating with colleagues across the regulator and with external data sources such as MS Dynamics 365.

Requirements of the role

As the Power BI Specialist, you will lead on the design, development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions. Working closely with colleagues across the regulator, you will develop innovative reporting that enable evidence-based decision making and improve access to key information.

You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust Power BI governance framework, ensuring consistency, quality, accessibility and security across all reporting. This will include developing standards, style guides and quality assurance processes, supporting a scalable and sustainable approach to business intelligence.

You will work with a range of internal and external data sources, including MS Dynamics 365 and regulatory datasets, developing robust data models and delivering analytical solutions that meet business needs. As the subject matter expert, you will provide advice and guidance on Power BI capabilities, data visualisation best practice, governance and advanced analytical approaches, while promoting self-service analytics across the organisation.
