Job summary

Bouygues UK is seeking a Senior Post Completion Surveyor to manage defect remediation and DLP across projects in the South West and Wales from Bristol. The role focuses on defect analysis, remediation planning, and close collaboration with site teams and clients.

The successful candidate will have building surveying or construction experience, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to quality assurance and safety throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in post-completion defects management and handover
• Strong understanding of construction methods and regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication and reporting skills

Responsibilities

• Manage DLP and post-completion defect remediation on assigned projects
• Carry out defect investigations, site inspections and reporting
• Prepare schedules of works and remediation plans for clients and contractors
• Coordinate with site teams, clients, and supply chain partners to close defects efficiently
• Maintain project records and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
• Support continuous improvement and share best practices within the team
