Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 5–7 years in Financial Services with accounting, custody, or reconciliation experience.
• Experience working with data in Excel; SQL or Python knowledge is a plus.
• Deep understanding of accounting for fixed income and equity; derivatives and synthetic exposures knowledge helps.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal groups to identify and resolve open reconciliation items.
• Identify break patterns and propose process and control improvements.
• Use bank portals to research position, cash, and market value differences.
• Maintain concise audit trails for in-flight items.
• Analyze bank data to improve reconciliation quality.
• Guide outsourced team members on escalated issues.
