Job summary

Peace Recruitment is assisting a well‑established consultancy in Glasgow to recruit a Senior Project Manager to lead delivery on port and maritime infrastructure projects. You will own projects from inception to completion, acting as the main client contact and ensuring programme, cost, quality and risk are managed.

You’ll work with senior stakeholders, consultants and contractors, mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects in consultancy or client-side environments.
• Experience delivering harbour, marine or wider infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage project finances.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams.
• Membership in MRICS / MAPM / MCIOB is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from inception through to completion.
• Build trusted client relationships and act as go-to advisor.
• Lead project teams and coordinate consultants and contractors.
• Manage risks, budgets, programmes and reporting.
• Prepare and present reports to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Support bids, proposals and business development.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.
