Job summary

Peace Recruitment is working with a well-established consultancy that has significant growth planned for 2027. They’re looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead delivery on defence projects from Glasgow, with hybrid working.

You’ll take ownership of projects, manage client expectations, budgets and risks, and mentor junior staff while helping to grow the team for future opportunities.

Qualifications

• A strong background in Project or Programme Management within the built environment and infrastructure
• Experience delivering projects in defence or similarly secure, regulated environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Commercial awareness and the ability to manage project finances
• The confidence to make decisions and stand behind them
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams

Responsibilities

• Managing projects and programmes from inception through to completion
• Building trusted relationships with clients and becoming their go-to advisor
• Leading project teams and coordinating consultants and contractors
• Managing project risks, budgets, programmes and reporting
• Preparing and presenting reports to clients and senior stakeholders
• Coaching and mentoring junior members of the team
