The University of Manchester in Manchester is seeking a Senior Technician to operate and maintain instrumentation for material characterisation, including DSC, rheology, mechanical testing and DMA. The role will also support spectroscopic capabilities such as FTIR, fluorimetry and ellipsometry.

Based in the Royce Hub Building, you will contribute to external projects with industrial and academic partners while supporting internal access to state-of-the-art equipment.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain instrumentation for DSC, rheology, mechanical testing and DMA.
• Support core facility in delivering FTIR, fluorimetry and ellipsometry capabilities.
