Job summary

ESSENTIAL EMPLOYMENT LTD is seeking a Principal Policy Planner for Maidenhead on a temporary basis. The role focuses on shaping and delivering the new Local Plan, leading key workstreams and building robust evidence to support high-quality, sustainable development for the Borough.

You will support the Planning Policy Manager, deputise when required, and mentor junior colleagues while taking ownership of specialist policy areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning policy development and delivery.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership working.
• Ability to guide junior colleagues and deputise for a Policy Manager.
