Job Description:

Murray McIntosh is delighted to be working with a membership organisation who are seeking a Senior Policy Advisor to work on energy infrastructure policy. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to changes within the UK energy sector.

This role will offer:

  • Considerable opportunities to coordinate policy and advocacy work across the energy sector, engaging with members and the wider market.
  • Regulatory support, providing insights from the regulator into the member and wider market.
  • The chance to be a really key representative, speaking at meetings and events whilst elevating the organisation's image within the wider policy landscape.
  • Work on multiple key policies, all contributing the definition of the energy market's future, including the new Grid.
  • Close working with Seniors, Directors and the Chief Executive on a daily basis.

We are seeking someone who has:

  • A Relevant degree, ideally in the subject or another technical field; if not, demonstrable experience in the sector.
  • Proven experience in policy management, regulatory affairs, or a similar role in the sector.
  • A passion for energy and making a difference.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

This is a full-time permanent position and applicants must be eligible to work permanently in UK. Unfortunately, sponsorship cannot be offered.
