Job summary

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust invites applications for a Band 6 Podiatrist based at Amersham Hospital. The role offers development toward Band 6 with rotations across Rheumatology, MSK and Diabetes/Wound clinics, including home visiting and clinic-based care.

You will work in community clinics and hospital settings with a focus on high-risk patients, complex care and nail surgery, while maintaining professional standards and effective communication.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) with Local Anaesthesia Certificate required.
• Postgraduate certificate or evidence of further training preferred.
• Member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists.

Responsibilities

• Work in a podiatry team to provide treatment across NHS settings.
• Assess, diagnose and implement care programmes for high-risk patients.
• Be professionally and legally accountable for all clinical work, delegating as needed.
• Deliver evidence-based podiatry interventions to support patient mobility and independence.
• Collaborate as a team member and autonomously when required.
