Job summary

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Band 6 Registered Podiatrist for a 12-month fixed-term contract, 21 hours 45 minutes per week, based across West Sussex, including Crawley. You will deliver expert podiatric assessment, manage patients with ulceration or complex needs, and work with a multidisciplinary team to support independence and reduce hospital admissions.

The post requires HCPC registration and CPD commitment; the role offers flexible working and development

Qualifications

• HCPC registered podiatrist
• Evidence of CPD

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert podiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients at moderate and high risk of foot complications.
• Manage patients with active ulceration and complex clinical needs.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support holistic patient care.
• Help patients remain independent, mobile and active within their communities.
• Contribute to preventing avoidable hospital admissions and supporting timely discharge from acute settings.
