Job summary

CNTW NHS Foundation Trust in Morpeth is seeking an experienced Senior Podiatrist to join the Physical Health and Wellbeing Team on a bank basis. You will provide specialist podiatric assessment, diagnose and manage foot health needs across inpatient and community settings, supporting services within the North Locality.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Podiatry and HCPC registration.
• Must hold Local Anaesthetics Certificate.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams; mental health setting preferred.
• Completion of band 5 portfolio or equivalent for progression to band 6.
• Demonstrable CPD evidence.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist podiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management.
• Undertake biomechanical and gait assessments where appropriate.
• Manage a diverse caseload independently.
• Support prevention and management of foot complications in long-term conditions.
• Collaborate with mental health, learning disability and physical health colleagues.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in governance activities.
• Support service development and quality improvement.
