Job summary

Capita is seeking a Senior PMO Planner for a home-based role with occasional travel to our Glasgow office. You will own Microsoft Project plans, manage multiple project and programme schedules, and provide clear planning insight to govern and inform decisions.

This fixed-term opportunity runs until 31 March 2027, with potential to extend. You will work independently while collaborating with project teams and PMO colleagues to maintain dates and milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience building schedules in MS Project.
• Ability interpret documents and meetings into plan changes quickly.
• Identify schedule risks and escalate to the right forums.
• Security clearance SC or ability to obtain (UK residence 5 years).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Microsoft Project plans using predecessors and successors.
• Manage multiple project and programme plans, keeping dates, milestones, and dependencies accurate.
• Review project documentation and meeting notes, then update plans to reflect agreed actions and changes.
• Identify schedule risks, issues, and planning assumptions, escalating through the right forums.
• Provide clear planning insight to support governance, reporting, and decision-making.
• Work independently while collaborating closely with project teams and PMO colleagues.
