Job summary

Accenture in Newcastle is seeking a PMO Lead (Associate Manager) to steer end-to-end Project Controls across large, complex programmes. You’ll lead multiple workstreams, manage RAID, and ensure governance, financial control and delivery assurance in a fast-paced client environment.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and data-driven decision making, including Power BI. Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days in the Newcastle office; BPSS and SC clearance with 5 years UK

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading PMO functions across large programmes.
• Proven experience leading medium to large teams.
• Experience embedding PMO standards, governance and best practice across complex delivery environments.
• Adept at managing complex plans and resource profiles over large programmes of work.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen.
• Experience in driving process automation and continuous service improvement.
• Exceptional communication skills - verbal, written, and presenting to groups.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end accountability for project controls across large programmes.
• Provide leadership across multiple workstreams and drive resolution of complex delivery challenges.
• Own programme operational data and deliver accurate reporting, dashboards and MI for stakeholders.
• Lead and manage PMO teams, setting direction and ensuring successful delivery.
• Manage supplier engagement, onboarding and contract governance to support delivery.
