Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a long-term site-based contract in Surrey. The role focuses on heavy civil/highways or water treatment, overseeing earthworks, drainage, utilities, and RC structures.

Office-based timelines and ECI through handover will be managed, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have major infrastructure exposure, NEC contract familiarity, and the ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or HND equivalent.
• Experience with main contractor / Tier 1 civil works.
• Thames Water Passport is highly desirable.
• Must be able to drive due to location.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams from ECI through design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Champion SHEQ and ensure compliance with CDM and water industry safety standards.
• Manage delivery of clean/wastewater projects (pipelines, pumping stations, treatment works).
• Develop and track delivery programmes (Primavera P6 or MS Project) to maintain schedule baselines.
• Oversee site teams and subcontractors to ensure work meets technical specs and budgets.
