Job summary

Deliveroo is hiring a Senior Product Manager for Core People Technology in London. You will own the Workday/HRIS space end-to-end, shaping tickets with analysts and engineers and building the intake frameworks that let the space run with less coordination overhead.

You will translate complex partner needs into structured plans, collaborate across People Ops, Compliance and Payroll, and use AI thoughtfully to accelerate workflows while safeguarding sensitive areas like pay and employment status.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a product or systems area end-to-end with real decision rights over scope and sequencing.
• Hands-on background with Workday or a comparable HRIS as a product manager or technical program manager.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise when demand structurally exceeds capacity.
• Proven delivery in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Experience translating a partner's request into a well-defined problem and outcomes.
• Strong collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the prioritised order of work for Core — build a clear, ranked plan with rationale.
• Turn partner requests into documented problems, mapped processes and testable outcomes.
• Partner with People Operations, Compliance, Payroll, Total Rewards and Business Systems Analysts.
• Work hands-on with analysts and engineers to shape, size, and write tickets.
• Build and evolve the operating model across the analyst and engineering pod.
• Use AI tools to translate inbound requests into structured requirements with safeguards.
• Escalate on statutory or audit exposure and cross-space dependencies.
• Report progress and delivery against plan to partners and leadership.
