Job summary

BMSL Group Ltd is recruiting a Domestic Plumbing Manager to lead plumbing operations across a portfolio of social housing, planned maintenance, refurbishment and retrofit projects in South Wales. The role focuses on delivering safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes across occupied environments.

You will manage direct labour, subcontractors and supervisors, plan delivery programmes, and maintain strong client relationships while upholding health and safety standards and driving service

Qualifications

• Strong background within domestic plumbing maintenance, refurbishment or planned works.
• Experience managing direct labour and subcontractors.
• Experience working within occupied residential environments.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Experience working with housing associations, local authorities or public-sector clients.
• Good commercial awareness.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage domestic and light commercial plumbing operations across multiple live contracts.
• Lead and support plumbing supervisors, operatives and subcontractors.
• Plan labour resources, workloads and delivery programmes.
• Monitor quality, productivity and operational performance.
• Oversee health and safety compliance across all plumbing activities.
• Support mobilisation and delivery of new contracts.
• Liaise with clients, residents, housing providers and stakeholders.
• Handle variations, quotations and operational reporting.
• Support recruitment, training and development of plumbing teams.
• Drive excellent customer service and workmanship standards.
