Allstate NI is seeking a high-level Threat Modeling - Platform Consultant Senior Expert to drive secure-by-design across enterprise platforms. You will guide architectural decisions, influence engineering practices, and advance threat modeling across multiple teams in a cloud-first environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in software/security engineering or related roles in enterprise settings.
• Experience acting as a strategic advisor, architect, or security partner for engineering teams.
• Deep knowledge of threat modeling methodologies (STRIDE, ATT&CK, kill chains) and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted security consultant to engineering teams on secure architecture and threat modeling.
• Lead threat modeling engagements across applications and platforms early in the development lifecycle.
• Embed secure-by-design principles across software delivery from discovery to production.
• Define and influence platform security strategies with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop risk-based security recommendations balancing security, business goals, and developer experience.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance threat detection, breach modeling, and security resilience.
• Facilitate architectural reviews and threat modeling sessions to guide decisions.
• Champion AI security, API security, SaaS security, and automation initiatives.
