Job summary

Imagination Technologies, a UK-based semiconductor IP company, seeks a senior infrastructure/platform engineer to own end-to-end architecture across bare-metal to cloud. You will design the on-prem virtualization layer (Proxmox/VMware), implement hybrid Azure patterns, and establish RBAC, secrets management, and secure ingress/egress.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in infrastructure/platform engineering and ownership of production systems end-to-end.
• Hands-on with on-prem virtualization (Proxmox/VMware) and hybrid cloud patterns.
• Strong Terraform & Ansible experience for provisioning and configuration.
• Solid Azure experience including IAM, networking, and storage.
• Proficient in Linux and shell scripting; security-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end platform architecture from bare-metal to cloud interfaces.
• Design and implement on-prem virtualization layer and hybrid cloud compute bursting.
• Define secure networking, RBAC, and secrets management strategies.
• Develop and maintain IaC (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible).
• Lead incident response and capacity planning for production workloads.
