Job summary
Resourcing Group is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join a specialist technology team delivering highly secure solutions within the national security environment. Based in Gloucester or Manchester, you will work in a hybrid model with three on-site days per week, collaborating with software, infrastructure and security professionals to design, build and operate robust platforms.
You will automate repetitive tasks, create dependable CI/CD pipelines, and apply modern cloud and container
Qualifications
- Experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps or related discipline.
- Experience with Agile or SCRUM teams.
- Experience with cloud environments and Infrastructure as Code.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain development and infrastructure environments.
- Translate requirements into platform solutions.
- Increase automation across development and deployment activities.
- Build CI/CD processes for frequent releases.
- Identify and resolve complex infra issues.
- Support security, resilience and availability of critical systems.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers and stakeholders throughout delivery.
- Promote consistent engineering practices across environments.
- Continuously review platforms and processes for improvements.
