Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior/Lead Platform Engineer to design, build and operate production-grade platforms for government services. The role focuses on secure, observable, and scalable multi-cloud architectures, predominantly AWS, with a strong emphasis on platform-as-a-product thinking and hands-on contribution.

You will lead workshops, define standards, and mentor engineers while collaborating with client teams to deliver resilient, modern platforms at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience designing secure, scalable multi-cloud platforms (primarily AWS).
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions with clients and teams.
• Hands-on capabilities in building platform tooling and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, run and improve production-grade platforms for government services.
• Define SLOs, improve reliability and lead incident reviews.
• Lead technical workshops and design reviews with client stakeholders.
