Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to build and sustain a high‑performing SaaS platform for NHS EPR. You will work hands-on with Terraform and Bash, operating a cloud-agnostic, self-managed Kubernetes environment to support low latency and near-zero downtime services.

The role requires on-site presence three days a week in Wokingham, offering a £75,000 salary plus a 10% bonus, alongside medical and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with platform engineering and cloud-agnostic platforms.
• Hands-on work with Kubernetes managed/self-managed environments.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Bash is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve a SaaS platform used by NHS EPR.
• Ensure low latency and near-zero downtime for services.
• Work with the platform team to scale and secure the infrastructure.
