Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to design and maintain the central platform used by software teams to accelerate delivery. You’ll ship CI/CD templates, AI tooling, and reference patterns as products with discoverability and self-service in mind.

You will guide engineers, validate designs, and collaborate with federated platform teams to align with governance and standards. This role is based in the UK&I region with hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Strong software and platform engineering experience building developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and infra automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and build reusable CI/CD templates, pipeline components, and infrastructure patterns.
• Develop Claude Code (or equivalent agentic CLI tooling) skills, subagents, and MCP servers used as standard AI tooling.
• Implement golden path templates and maintain how platform assets reach engineering teams.
• Co-develop shared infrastructure components with federated platform teams within governance.
• Respond to feedback from delivery squads and treat engineers as customers.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and participate in design reviews.
