Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering or related STEM field.
Significant hands-on Java software engineering experience building and operating distributed systems.
Deep experience with microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures (Kafka) and integration patterns.
Design and influence engineering strategy, architecture standards, and technical roadmaps.
Strong knowledge of secure software development including authentication, authorization and encryption.

Responsibilities

Lead technical design discussions and reviews, steering complex system architecture decisions.
Drive development of secure, cloud-native applications using Kubernetes and container platforms.
Define and implement CI/CD, IaC, and GitOps practices to enable reliable delivery.
Mentor engineers, promote engineering best practices, and improve developer productivity.
Collaborate with stakeholders across product, security, and operations to deliver critical capabilities.
