Job summary

TransUnion in the United Kingdom seeks a senior platform engineer to lead regional release operations for Global Business Platforms deployed in the UK region. You will own CI/CD pipelines, drive automation with Terraform and Harness, and ensure secure, compliant deployments across regional teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience in cloud-native, containerized environments.
• Proven Kubernetes expertise with production GKE clusters and Helm.
• Strong GCP networking, load balancing, traffic management, and Cloud Storage knowledge.
• Experience administering Dataproc clusters and GCP compute services.
• Hands-on with cloud security tools including Wiz and CheckMarx integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional release execution through automated CI/CD pipelines and ensure high-quality deployments.
• Coordinate post-deployment validation with Global Platform testers to document and resolve issues.
• Manage CAB lifecycle and maintain deployment traceability and compliance.
• Collaborate to lead Kanban workflows and improve release processes.
• Facilitate cross-functional coordination across the UK region to align with business objectives.
• Champion continuous improvement by analyzing release outcomes and implementing changes.
• Communicate status and risks to stakeholders with proactive issue resolution.
• Coordinate regression testing for Global Business Platforms deployed in the UK region.
• Lead incident response as primary technical representative on incident bridges.
• Document lessons learned and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
