Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com seeks a senior engineer for the Intelligence Platform Core team. You’ll work on underlying data and ML platform infrastructure, building scalable, reliable cloud-native capabilities on AWS with Kubernetes. You’ll design controllers in Go, advocate GitOps, and create self-service workflows for internal users.

You will mentor peers, shape platform engineering practices, and partner with Data/ML teams to align interfaces and shared infrastructure patterns.

Qualifications

• Experience building cloud-native platforms on AWS, GCP, or Azure with Kubernetes.
• Proficient in Go for backend services, CLIs, or controllers.
• Skilled in GitOps and CI/CD for automated pipelines.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Experience with internal developer platforms and platform engineering.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on platform capabilities using Kubernetes-native patterns.
• Build reusable abstractions and self-service workflows for internal users.
• Design and implement Kubernetes controllers to automate lifecycle management.
• Mentor engineers and promote platform engineering practices.
• Coordinate with Data and ML teams on platform interfaces.
