Job summary

deltaflare is seeking a Platform Engineer to own cloud operations across AWS and Azure from Richmond, UK. The role includes maintaining production environments, deploying the phoenix blueprint, and driving security, cost optimisation, and reliability. The candidate will work in a hybrid estate with training on phoenix architecture and OT environments.

UK visa sponsorship is provided. We require hands-on IaC experience, strong networking knowledge, and 3+ years in platform/cloud/DevOps roles.

Qualifications

• 3 years of AWS experience required.
• 2 years of Infrastructure as Code experience required.
• 3 years of Platform Engineering experience required.
• Experience in platform engineering, cloud engineering, or DevOps.
• Hands-on cloud operations across Azure and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Operate Azure and AWS cloud estate day to day for optimisation, availability and security.
• Maintain environments with focus on performance, cost, and security posture.
• Establish and maintain monitoring, alerting and runbooks.
• Deploy phoenix blueprint into pre-production and production environments.
• Maintain deployment automation for repeatable, auditable releases.
• Stand up delivered phoenix software in target environments per deployment specs.
• Provide test environments and supporting infrastructure for test automation.
• Build IaC validation, deployment smoke tests and environment health checks.
• Validate phoenix integration across deployment configurations and blueprints.
• Document integration failures or deviations clearly and promptly.
• Build and maintain deployment blueprints for client apps and hardware tiers.
• Lead triage across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, application code, networking and OT environment.
