Job summary

Burns Sheehan Limited is partnering with a high-growth Series B SaaS business to recruit a Senior Software Platform Engineer. This role focuses on building scalable cloud infrastructure and treating the platform as a product, not just maintenance.

You’ll scale infrastructure across Kubernetes, Terraform and GCP, improve internal tooling, and deliver CI/CD enhancements. The role demands strong cloud experience and a platform mindset to support rapid product-led growth.

Qualifications

• Strong Platform Engineering, SRE or cloud infrastructure experience.
• Deep production experience with Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Experience operating scalable or distributed production systems.

Responsibilities

• Building and evolving scalable cloud infrastructure across Kubernetes, Terraform and GCP.
• Improving internal tooling and self-service capabilities for Software Engineers.
• Developing CI/CD and deployment infrastructure to make shipping software faster and safer.
• Helping evolve the platform towards multi-region and multi-environment infrastructure.
• Improving observability, SLOs, reliability and incident response as the platform scales.
• Working closely with Product Engineers to remove infrastructure complexity and developer toil.
