BigHand is seeking a Platform/DevOps Engineer to shape and secure our cloud platform and on-prem-to-cloud migrations. You will collaborate with product, architecture and software engineering teams to deliver secure cloud platforms and scalable infrastructure.

You will drive automation, security, and observability while contributing to platform security research and knowledge sharing across the company. This role offers flexible working options in a global, innovation-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS across compute, networking, security and data.
• Strong Terraform skills with scripting in PowerShell, Bash, SQL, and KQL.
• Experience with AKS, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Security scanning tools, vulnerability management and cloud security controls.
• CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps experience.
• Strong collaboration, learning mindset and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Champion DevSecOps across the team and embed security best practices.
• Migrate on-prem services to a multi-region Azure platform (PaaS and IaaS).
• Automate manual build, release and operations tasks; extend Terraform/PowerShell libraries.
• Set up monitoring, dashboards and uptime reporting to detect issues quickly.
• Own incidents and maintenance, meeting SLAs and coordinating maintenance windows.
• Collaborate to design secure, compliant products and document operational procedures.
