PEXA Group is expanding its UK footprint and seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join the PEXA Go team. You will build and operate the AWS-based platform, improve deployment automation, and work with software engineers, security and risk teams to keep services reliable and secure.
You’ll collaborate with Principal and Lead Platform Engineers, participate in on-call rotations, and support service resilience while delivering platform priorities and platform-wide improvements.
Hi, we’re PEXA!
We know you’ll Google us before applying, so let’s keep this brief. PEXA revolutionised the way that property is settled in Australia, turning a paper‑based process into a digital one. Our solution is a world‑first, with over 500 people across Australia and an expanding international team, we’re helping 20,000+ families into their homes each week.
We’re passionate about solving problems for our customers – always striving to set the standard for how property is bought and sold. Being awarded as one of the best places to work in Australia is a recognition of our culture and commitment to innovation, customers and our community.
We’re growing fast, that is where you come in.
We believe our success in Australia is worth sharing and that our proven technology will advance how the UK buys and sells homes.
Establishing ourselves within the UK in late 2020, we are committed to collaborating with lawyers, conveyancers, lenders, government and the property industry, to set the new standard for both remortgages and buying and selling property.
We’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our PEXA Go team. You’ll help build and operate the AWS platform behind PEXA Go, making sure it is reliable, secure and well supported as the service develops.
This is a hands‑on engineering role. You’ll work closely with the Principal and Lead Platform Engineers to deliver platform priorities, improve the way infrastructure is deployed and operated, and help resolve issues when they arise. You’ll also work with software engineering, Technology Operations, Product, Security and Risk colleagues, so clear communication and good collaboration will matter just as much as your technical experience.
The role includes paid on‑call support, responding to alerts and incidents as part of agreed arrangements.
You’ll take ownership of your work and follow issues through to resolution. When services are under pressure, you’ll bring sound judgement, keep others informed and elevate risks promptly. You’ll also be someone who enjoys working with others and sharing knowledge across the team.
You’ll have the chance to work on the platform behind PEXA Go and make a practical contribution to how it is built, supported and improved. You’ll be part of a collaborative engineering environment where platform work connects closely with software delivery, product priorities and the experience of our customers.
If you enjoy hands‑on AWS engineering and improving the reliability of live services, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll also have access to support for family and life events, including family grief counselling, discounted legal services and UK‑registered veterinary advice.
We know that work is just one aspect of your life – we want to help you create your ideal work/life blend, rather than squeezing in life around work. Our hybrid approach combines regular in‑office connection with working from home. You may also be able to work remotely from an approved country for up to two weeks every six months and purchase up to four additional weeks of annual leave each year.
Use your paid Volunteer Day to support a cause that matters to you and enjoy events throughout the year that bring PEXArians together to connect and celebrate.
