Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, platform architecture, or technical leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in Progress OpenEdge (ABL/OpenEdge platform) architecture and development.
• Extensive experience with Java and enterprise application development, including technologies such as Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Proven experience designing and supporting large‑scale, business‑critical on‑premise platforms.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, distributed systems, software design patterns, and system integration.
• Experience defining and executing large‑scale, multi‑year technology strategies and roadmaps.
• Demonstrated success leading architecture and engineering initiatives across multiple teams and business domains.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture, governance, risk management, and compliance requirements.
• Experience driving platform standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement programs.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience working within enterprise‑scale or highly regulated environments is highly desirable.
