Job summary

Wipro is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to shape secure, scalable technology solutions. You will work with Product Owners, Enterprise Architects and engineers to deliver end-to-end designs and align with business strategies.

You will lead architectural governance, validate options, and promote built-in quality across platform solutions while supporting the wider business strategy and modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Background in systems engineering or solution architecture.
• Strong knowledge of software development practices including Behaviour-Driven Development and Test-Driven Development.
• Demonstrable ability to communicate with and influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience aligning technology recommendations with organisational strategy and business priorities.
• Knowledge of architectural frameworks and technologies such as TOGAF, ArchiMate and cloud architecture.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Platform Leads, Enterprise Architects and Engineers to create and maintain the architectural runway for platform teams.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture and service providers to define solutions and interfaces, validate technology assumptions and evaluate implementation options.
• Analyse solution options and produce end-to-end designs using appropriate architectural building blocks.
• Create feature designs that enable the frequent and incremental delivery of customer value.
• Promote adaptive design practices and foster collaboration around a shared architectural vision.
• Own technical design risks and issues, driving their resolution through architectural and Agile practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to elicit requirements and shape and validate solution designs or prototypes.
• Apply industry best practices, frameworks, standards and policies to create opportunities and value for customers.
• Contribute to financial investment processes supporting key solution opportunities.
• Establish guiding principles and success criteria for platform capabilities and feature development.
• Provide architectural oversight and promote built-in quality, decoupled solutions and modernised architectures.
• Support the identification and assessment of software and infrastructure currency risks.
• Provide options and recommendations for action planning and the continuous modernisation of platform solutions.
• Support platform financial estimation, expenditure and risk management activities in alignment with the platform roadmap.
• Lead and inspire a diverse workforce to support the delivery of the wider business strategy.

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will collaborate with Product Owners, Platform Leads, Enterprise Architects and Engineers to create and maintain the architectural runway supporting platform teams. You will provide end-to-end solution designs, evaluate implementation options and ensure that proposed solutions align with target architecture, organisational strategy and customer outcomes.

You will also work closely with Enterprise Architecture and service providers to define solution interfaces, validate technology assumptions and manage software lifecycle risks, issues and dependencies.

What We're Looking For

• Experience working within multidisciplinary product, feature or platform teams.


• A background in systems engineering or solution architecture.


• Strong knowledge of software development practices, including Behaviour-Driven Development and Test-Driven Development.


• Demonstrable ability to communicate with and influence both technical and non-technical audiences.


• Experience aligning technology recommendations with organisational strategy and business priorities.


• Strong understanding of solution and software architecture patterns.


• Experience applying project, architecture, lifecycle and risk management methods.


• Experience with Agile Architecture, including emergent and intentional architecture techniques.


• Knowledge of systems or solution development, change lifecycles and release management at web scale.


• Experience partnering with Enterprise, Security, Data and Infrastructure Architects.


• Demonstrable experience leading architectural governance, risk management or compliance activities.


• Familiarity with architectural frameworks and technologies such as TOGAF, ArchiMate and cloud architecture.


• Strong understanding of third-party product deployment, vendor evaluation and vendor selection.


• Experience with native mobile applications, cross-platform or hybrid applications, API gateway management and microservices.
