Red Badger seeks a Principal DevOps / Platform Engineer to guide delivery teams and embed technical excellence across complex client engagements in the UK. You will mentor, consult on architecture, and shape technology strategy with stakeholders.

Hands-on work remains central, with involvement in thought leadership and high-value consulting. You will collaborate with Principal Product and Delivery roles to align technology choices with client goals and Red Badger’s value propositions.

Qualifications

• Experience guiding large-scale DevOps implementations.
• Consulting background with client engagements and stakeholder management.
• Strong understanding of cloud, containers, CI/CD, and security basics.

Responsibilities

• Support lean software delivery and design to maximize value.
• Provide architectural framework and solution design.
• Advocate for innovative technologies and approaches.
• Coach, pair, and review code to ensure quality.
• Upskill engineers and raise technology discipline standards.
• Lead technology teams across programmes and governance.
