Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting an Operations Manager for a senior role in our Nottingham site. You will oversee safe, compliant and efficient plant operations, leading a 20+ strong team and aligning with maintenance for reliability and performance.

The role focuses on driving safety culture, operational excellence and strong leadership across operations and engineering functions in a heavy industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Supervisory / leadership experience within an Operations + Engineering function.
• Background in heavy industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation.
• Experience with safe systems of work including Permit-to-Work.
• Engineering discipline related to process plant is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20+ direct/indirect reports and drive safety culture.
• Ensure compliant and efficient operation of the facility.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to maximise availability and reliability.
