Job summary

Arcadis in London is seeking a Lead Planning Manager to head the planning and scheduling team on a major infrastructure programme in London and the south of England. You will oversee planning standards, baseline plans, and performance reporting to drive successful project delivery.

You will lead a skilled team, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement using digital planning tools. A strong background in major aviation or infrastructure projects is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project planning and scheduling.
• Experience in aviation or infrastructure programmes preferred.
• Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and scheduling team on a major infrastructure programme.
• Develop planning processes and standards to meet client requirements.
• Maintain baseline plans, WBS, and schedules aligned with delivery objectives.
• Monitor progress, variances, and implement recovery plans.
• Provide input into bids, estimates, and resource planning.
• Report earned value, progress, and performance for financial forecasting.
• Audit contractor plans and ensure compliance with Network Rail procedures.
• Mentor and develop planners across the team.
• Collaborate with clients and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver value.
