Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Planner to lead planning for major infrastructure programmes, delivering integrated schedules and robust project controls. You will oversee baseline and detailed schedules, perform critical path analysis, and ensure alignment with NEC3/NEC4 contractual requirements across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Significant experience delivering planning services on major infrastructure, utilities, energy, transportation or other regulated programmes.
• Expert user of Primavera P6 for schedule development, forecasting, reporting and programme controls.
• Extensive NEC3 and NEC4 contract experience, including contractor programme assessment and time-related submissions.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance and assurance of project schedules across major projects or programmes.
• Perform critical path analysis and report on milestone risks and opportunities.
• Review contractor programmes and time-related submissions per NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• Apply earned value management and integrated project controls for forecasting and decision-making.
• Align schedule dashboards and reporting for governance and executive decisions.
• Provide planning expertise and assurance during tender, development and delivery phases.
• Mentor and develop Assitant Planners and Planners, promoting planning best practices.
