Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Planner to lead planning on major infrastructure programmes, developing and assuring integrated schedules and applying project controls across the lifecycle.

You will provide planning leadership, perform critical path analysis, and collaborate with project managers, contractors and clients to drive delivery and mitigate risks.

With NEC3/NEC4 experience and strong communication, you will mentor junior planners and contribute to standards across the business.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent relevant experience.
• Significant experience delivering planning services on major infrastructure programmes.
• Expert user of Primavera P6 with schedule development and forecasting experience.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycles in engineering/ construction.
• Experience with NEC3/NEC4 contract time‑related submissions.
• Experience applying earned value management and integrated project controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance and assurance of baseline and detailed project schedules across major projects or programmes.
• Perform critical path analysis and provide reporting on programme performance, milestones, risks and opportunities.
• Review contractor programmes for NEC3/NEC4 compliance and submissions.
• Apply earned value management and project controls to support forecasting and decision making.
• Align programme reporting and dashboards to support governance and executive decisions.
• Mentor and develop junior planners and promote planning best practices.
