Essential Employment in Bradford is seeking a Senior Planning Officer to support the Local Plan by preparing planning policy documents and providing policy advice. The role is hybrid with 2 days in the office (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and a temporary contract.

You will help develop and maintain performance monitoring systems, using GIS and digital data in reports, and contribute to ensuring the plan remains up to date and compliant with statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• To contribute to and prepare a range of planning policy documents to maintain an up to date Local Plan.
• To contribute to the implementation of the Local Plan through policy advice and data publication.
• To develop, implement and maintain performance monitoring systems using GIS and digital data in reports.
