Job summary

Mace Construct Limited in London, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced Planning & Project Controls professional to lead medium to high complexity projects. You will collaborate with the planning function, verify tenders, and support project management to deliver on time and profitably.

You will manage planning teams, implement Earned Value Management, and communicate with clients and stakeholders to drive robust planning processes and ensure delivery aligns with the programme and client

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of schedule management tools & software.
• Mastery in setting up effective planning/schedule management systems & procedures.
• Experience with Earned Value Management reporting.
• Ability to manage activities with significant uncertainty of solution or outcome.
• Develop and maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience leading planning teams or a planning function.
• Degree (or equivalent) in Construction/Programme/PM disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the planning function on allocated project and contributes as required.
• Verifies projects/tenders to ensure alignment to define planning processes; ensure proper planning, scheduling and monitoring.
• Supports Project Management in delivery of the project, ensuring on-time and profitable delivery.
• Responsible for planning of medium & high complexity projects, a portfolio of smaller projects or larger projects.
• Creates plans and analyses trends using numerical and statistical techniques.
• Provides performance management, technical and career development and coaching to the planning team.
• Works with client and project stakeholders to deliver against programme and objectives.
