Job summary

Greencore Desserts Newark is seeking a Senior Planner to lead day-to-day planning activities, including demand management, finite scheduling and capacity planning. The role focuses on labour and material forecasting and keeping planning systems up to date.

Based at our Newark site, you will manage a fast-paced, high-volume production environment and drive continuous improvement across the planning function.

Qualifications

• Strong planning and forecasting capabilities for demand, production and capacity.
• Experience in manufacturing planning and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of the planning team for demand, production, capacity and labour forecasting.
• Maintain planning systems and ensure accurate, timely information is shared with stakeholders.
• Develop rota planning coverage over all manufacturing operations and conduct appraisals.
• Minimise waste and optimise production activity through capacity planning.
• Analyse financial impact of factory efficiencies and variances.
• Lead and develop a cohesive planning team to deliver planning cover.
