Job summary

SLR Consulting in Manchester/Bolton is seeking an Associate level planner (potential for Technical Director) to join its expanding Northern Planning Team. You will lead diverse planning projects from major applications to site promotions and appeals, working with UK and international teams and growing the client base.

The role combines home working with the option to work from Manchester or Bolton offices, with a three-day-per-week office pattern typical for the team.

Qualifications

• Planning-related degree or MRTPI qualification.
• Significant private sector experience in town planning (or comparable level).
• Strong track record of winning work and developing client portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage planning projects from inception to consent and development.
• Provide strategic planning advice throughout the development process.
• Coordinate internal and external specialists and grow the client base.
