Job summary

GOVERNMENT LEGAL DEPARTMENT in the UK is recruiting a Senior Planning Knowledge Development Lawyer based in one of several offices. The role focuses on building planning law knowledge and training for GLD lawyers, aligning with government priorities in planning policy and law.

You will lead knowledge initiatives, collaborate with senior lawyers, and develop resources across platforms to keep teams up to date with the latest planning developments.

Qualifications

• Experience advising on planning law issues.
• Ability to build planning knowledge resources for lawyers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to create, develop and review objectives and action plans.
• Monitor and explain planning law developments to GLD colleagues.
• Create and promote planning law expertise across knowledge platforms.
• Support client planning law awareness and GLD learning offerings.
• Coordinate with GLD teams to meet planning law capability needs.
