Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor, barrister or CILEX as required.
• Experience in planning and environmental law.
• Ability to manage specialist professionals and lead a small team.
• Excellent written and oral communication with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Property Planning and Environment team.
• Advise Officers and Councillors on planning, highways and environmental issues.
• Represent the Council at boards, project teams and committees.
• Attend planning, executive and other council committees as required.
• Involve work with rights of way, common land and related inquiries.
