Job summary

KBR is hiring a Planning Engineer to deliver a robust planning and reporting service for complex projects in the UK nuclear sector. You will lead schedules, WBS, baselines and change control, coordinating with project teams and clients.

Role requires strong P6 and Excel skills, English proficiency, and experience in multi-discipline plant projects. Involves leadership of planning engineers and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Extensive experience in planning, scheduling and coordination of inspection and maintenance activities in oil & gas or petrochemical.
• Advance P6 skills and Advanced Excel skills.
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English.
• Good knowledge of multi discipline activities in plants and sequences.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning framework, systems and resources for planning and reporting services.
• Facilitate production of the project WBS and baseline/schedules.
• Prepare, monitor and forecast baselines and working schedules across project phases.
• Establish Basis of Schedule and ensure Rules of Credit and tracking.
• Identify changes to baselines and support change control processes.
• Prepare progress reports with earned value analysis and recovery options.
• Maintain planning data across systems and support risk processes.
