Job summary

KBR is seeking a Planning Engineer to join the team delivering the Sellafield decommissioning project. You will report to the Planning Manager, coordinating with multiple partners and the client to plan, schedule and control streams within the PPP pipeline.

The role expects extensive experience with major infrastructure projects and advanced CPM/risk analysis skills. Based in the United Kingdom, the successful candidate will lead scheduling activities, prepare progress reports and support risk

Qualifications

  • BSc in related subject or equivalent experience.
  • Significant planning experience on major infrastructure projects.
  • Sound knowledge of engineering and commercial aspects of major civil projects including roads, bridges and utilities.
  • Experienced user of Primavera P6, Pertmaster and MS Office.
  • Excellent knowledge of CPM networks, resource loading and risk management techniques.
  • Ability to monitor progress, identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Fluent English both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and maintenance of the project WBS and master schedule.
  • Co-ordination with Package Managers, Consultants and Contractors.
  • Analyse and report on Consultant and Contractor schedules and progress.
  • Perform critical path analysis of schedules.
  • Prepare independent risk analyses of schedules.
  • Prepare monthly and weekly reports.
