Job summary

BAM Nuttall is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our ASTI onshore team in Scotland. You will develop and maintain detailed P6 programmes, coordinate with subcontractors, and drive delivery across multiple projects near Inverness-shire and along the Moray coast.

You will liaise with estimators and commercial teams, attend site weekly, and contribute to tender and project submissions while staying current with construction techniques.

Qualifications

• Five+ years planning experience with NEC contracts preferred.
• Experience delivering programmes for civil construction projects.
• HND in Civil Engineering/Construction or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed programmes in P6 from first principles including resource loading.
• Integrate and manage subcontractor and supplier programmes with our own.
• Assimilate and interpret information from tender and project documentation.
• Coordinate with estimators and commercial teams on programme aspects.
• Chair collaborative planning workshops with clients and teams.
• Update and monitor project progress and report against requirements.
• Drive project delivery by owning the programme.
• Analyse change in programmes and support commercial teams.
• Maintain awareness of latest construction techniques.
